For three years, I managed Spotify’s content needs across it its creator marketing verticals, Spotify for Artists and Spotify for Podcasters, and newsroom hub, For the Record. For every project, I developed an editorial calendar that satisfied Spotify’s desire for a weekly cadence of fresh stories, and created ideal audience segments, content pillars, and distribution strategies to maximize effectiveness. I also crafted original style guides, editorial franchises, and pitch-and-assign processes that kept the sites’ content original, fresh, and timely.

Under my watch, Spotify For the Record became a premiere storytelling ecosystem that acted as both a destination and jumping off point for visitors. It was nominated as a finalist for the Digiday’s 2022 Content Marketing Awards for Best B2C Branded Content Site. Meanwhile, Spotify for Artists and Podcasters became go-to sites for Spotify’s band of makers and helped establish the company as the leading platform for creators.
